Marble Canyon, Arizona
Film & Video
This documentary film is on the California Condor, a majestic bird that is facing extinction. In 1987 there were only 22 of these birds remaining in North America. The filmmaker is working with a family of four to help save this rare bird. The California Condor is the biggest bird of land flying birds in North America and the filmmaker will travel to get more footage as well as visit an anthropologist / primeologist ethnologist who is skilled and widely acclaimed in the work of chimpanzees but who is also taking an interest in the Condors.
It’s sad when whole species go extinct, we need to be more aware of these species so that further efforts can be made to save them. Overflow Cafe supports documentaries in the film & video industry and values life and understands that only through awareness can issues be corrected.
