This event is based on the concept that wishes can come true given they are made at exactly the right time. The concept is based on the old wives tale that if you make wish when the clock strikes 11:11 it will come true. There will be 11 performers including musicians, poets and singers. It will also include 11 local artists and each artist will display 11 pieces. The fashion world will be part of this eclectic mix and there will be a fashion show which will incorporate 11 fashion designs from local fashion designers. Even the day of the event lines up with 11:11 and when the clock strikes 11:11 everyone will be asked to make a wish. This is a cute concept that will bring out the inner child in all. Art shows with a really cool theme like this one will bring people out and also is a great marketing opportunity for local entrepreneurs to bring their designs and works to the community. Overflow Cafe promotes local entrepreneurs in the art, fashion, poet, musician and singing industries.
